Delete my data
GrabTab has no accounts — there's nothing to “log in” to. Your tabs are stored on our server against an anonymous identifier that lives on your device. Deleting your data removes everything tied to that identifier.
Option 1 — from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the GrabTab app.
- Tap How it works on the home screen (the ⓘ entry under “More”).
- Scroll to Privacy & your data and tap Delete my data.
- Confirm. Every tab and recording tied to your device is erased from our server.
This is instant and complete. Because the identifier is anonymous, once it's deleted there is no way for us — or you — to recover those tabs, so export anything you want to keep first.
Option 2 — by email
If you can no longer open the app (for example you've already uninstalled it) email us at mentoriceapp@gmail.com. Include any detail that helps us locate your data; note that since we store no personal information, we may only be able to act on a request made from the original device.
What gets deleted
- Every clip (audio and, in camera mode, video) you transcribed.
- Every generated tab, notation, and the detected notes.
- Your weekly usage counter and any corrections you submitted.
Recordings you previously submitted as training corrections are removed from storage and excluded from all future training runs. Anything already incorporated into a model that was trained before your request can't be pulled back out of that finished model, but it is deleted everywhere we still hold it.
